OKO CULINARY CLASSES. The Lalit Chandigarh.

Well hello people! It feels good! What a way to come back as we bring you a very different article. Exquisite, yes that’s the word to describe our collaboration with the giants of the Indian Hotel Industry, The Lalit Group.

This was our first time working with The Lalit Chandigarh, and we are very thankful to the whole staff that just made everything better. Let’s just say it was one heck of a Five Star experience.


So we were invited for the culinary classes at OKOan award winning PAN Asian restaurant at the Lalit Chandigarh and under the guidance of the executive chef, Chef Suriya Phusirimongkhonchai we tried our hands to cook some Thai dishes.

We had three Thai dishes on the menu and our notebooks for the day, namely, som tum salad, green vegetable Thai curry and tum tim grob(dessert). Pretty simple dishes to try and cook, but just as we got to taste these, the whole table was in praises for the food, it was just divine!

Oh not to forget, we had some really good company for the class, especially the lady that can be seen in the background in this picture below, Manali! A big shoutout to her for having us. Now Manali was the one keeping everything in one place and keeping the spirits high. Haha!
